bringing me to my knees
and I wonder how I still wake up
with anything left to give
All of my hope in this world is leaving
My heart breaks more times than I can count
The damage has been more than done
I know this doesn't change a thing
I can't change
I can't turn the clock back
I'll mourn what we've lost
and hold on to what we have left
Insane album. Had to buy it as soon as I heard it and is honestly a 2023 AOTY contender for me. The lyrics are so simple yet evocative and the music is a vicious scream for change in a unchanging world and contempt for the way everything is and seemingly will be/has been for all of our history. I heard Deathless before this and this just absolutely blows it out of the water. sum1elses
