this room feels so cold lying in puddles of sweat and these covers weigh me down so much i think that i could drown. the sun sneaks through the curtains and the cracks in the tape. everything moves so fast when you only wish that it would end. i tried so hard to let this earth swallow me up but as the dirt piles on you're the light that shines right through. it takes everything i have to keep from crying when i laugh at all the things you do that make me smile and it all feels so absurd. there's that selfish part of me that only wants this innocence to last... i would do anything but we both know that someday this will end
