Track Name: Coma Regalia - What It Costs
The swarm does consume. Eaten through fragments of bone. No one escapes it's pull. Another you, coming row after row. Why must I lose myself? Lower myself into the fire. Kill myself again.
Track Name: Heart On My Sleeve - A Fabrication Of Life
The longing for tranquility was slowly replaced with apathy as the misanthrope in her got the final say. She wanted to love but what was the point? She dug herself further into the core of her being until she couldn’t hide anymore. Exposed to the world she began her quest for the meaning of it all, but like with everything else she ended up empty-handed. She gave it all her best but that was never good enough. In the darkness she looked for that voice of reason that would soothe the growing despair. The emptiness that will not be filled leaves her full but never content. It leaves her full, but never content.
She lies, lies, lies to keep herself afloat
She lies, lies, lies to keep the truth accurate.
She lies, lies, lies to herself, every day.
She lies, lies, lies to keep the truth accurate.
She lies, lies, lies to herself, every day.
It´s a fine line walking between insanity and keeping sane and she constantly walk the border on her tip-toes.
It´s a fine line walking the border of insanity and keeping sane, and she constantly walk the border on her tip-toes.
Delineating the hopes she left behind and mapping the path she could never follow.
And she lies, she lies
She can´t tame what rages inside but she abstains from the pain, feeding it with sweet sweet lies and self-loathing.
Just to stay herself she pretends to be whole. x 3
She acts as if the scars are healed and everything is forgotten. x 2
But she lies, lies, lies, to herself every day.
She lies lies lies to keep the truth accurate.
She fills the vast space with everything that sustains an existence.
But she lies, oh, she lies.
