俺を困惑させるアニメインフルエンスドScreamo達の1つ、...AND ITS NAME WAS EPYONの2019年作品。エヴァでもAKIRAでもlainでもなくガンダム。もういい加減にしてください。しかし真面目に論じるぞ。新機動戦記ガンダムWの日本での放映は1995年であったが、USでは2000年に始まっており、USで最初に放送されたガンダムシリーズ作品だという。そしてこのタイミングがRadioheadが『Kid A』を発表し、アメリカ国内ではCity Of Caterpillar等の新しい世代のScreamoが確立しつつある時期でもある。ファンダムがオタク臭強い初期ガンダムの流れとも異なり、女性ファンにも支持される2000年代以降のガンダム文脈を背負うScreamoは日本でどう受け止めるべきか俺にはわからない。
